Facility Features:
Each of Merestead's camp facilities is located on a school campus that is spacious and provides a variety of amenities.
* multiple well-groomed grass playing fields and practice areas
* special practice area for goalkeepers
* gymnasiums for indoor play and inclement weather
* swimming pool for recreational swims
* campus dining hall for meals
* campus dormitories (our Pennsylvania dorm has mostly single rooms)
* all locations have air conditioned dorms (except Vermont)
* nearby emergency medical facilities
* Merestead Camp Store with equipment, clothing and snacks
* Merestead Health Service with certified athletic trainers (signed physical release required)
Camp StoreMerestead's camp store stocks a variety of sports equipment, including sticks, balls, shin guards, mouth guards, and athletic tape. Our store also offers a variety of tank tops, t-shirts, shorts, sweats, water bottles, drinks, and snacks. Health Services Our staff includes certified athletic trainers, available at all times to our players. Players should arrive healthy for camp. If an illness or injury occurs to a player the parent will be contacted. If a severe illness or injury occurs the parent may need to travel to camp and transport their daughter home. With signed consent of the parent and physician, prescription medications for the camper will be stored and the trainer will observe self-administration of the medicines. Each site has emergency medical facilities nearby. Special first aid supplies, athletic tape and other medical needs are the responsibility of the individual. Signed medical release, health history, immunization record and insurance information must be on file for campers to participate. (Merestead Sports Camps must comply with regulations of the MA Dept. of Public Health and be licensed by the local board of health.
